Summer sun, and MedTech fun! It's August, which means we're just a little over a month away from launching our new season of NEMIC programming. As applications come in, we love seeing all of the innovation happening right here in Rhode Island and can't wait to form new relationships and grow our NEMIC family. Funded by Rhode Island Commerce, the EMPOWER Program introduced a robust support system that combined mentorship, technical assistance, and an emphasis on celebrating diversity and fostering innovation within the Health and Wellness sector.

Despite challenges, there’s a bright future for innovation among minority and women business enterprises in Rhode Island.
