As a regulatory affairs specialist with Johnson & Johnson MedTech, part of Andrew Willwerth’s job is interacting with professionals from multiple fields - Something he says he was able to do with ease because, thanks to what he learned here at NEMIC, he “speaks their language.”

Applications for NEMIC's MedTech Leadership Program and the NEMIC Accelerator for the 2024-2025 year will open on July 22nd!

Several of NEMIC’s newest fellows said the format was eye-opening - making them realize how broad and valuable NEMIC’s ecosystem is.

The event highlighted participants’s work from the MedTech Leadership Program, MedTech Accelerator, and EMPOWER Accelerator. These companies were recognized for their innovations and dedication to advancing the health and wellness of our communities and humanity at large.

Our 2023-24 Med Tech Leadership Program participants have officially graduated! This year’s cohort was our largest and most diverse yet. We hosted a variety of biomedical engineering and medical students from Brown University, professional engineers and copywriters, public health administrators, and designers. We even assisted individuals in finding their spot in the Rhode Island Med Tech ecosystem to re-enter the workforce!

Startups and Scaleups: NEMIC’s 2024 Spring Showcase will serve as a platform for emerging companies to present their products and services to potential investors, partners, and the broader community.

This year, we are delighted to welcome twenty bright and diverse individuals to the program.
