OPEN ENROLLMENT for 8th Cohort of NEMIC HIPP (formerly MTLP), to Begin Fall 2026

Registration is NOW OPEN for NEMIC's 2026-27 Health Innovator Pathways Program (HIPP)!

Formerly known as the MedTech Leadership Program (MTLP), HIPP is the next evolution of our flagship healthcare innovation education program. We have evolved the curriculum to better reflect the diverse healthcare innovations we serve, including digital health, healthcare software, biotechnology, and other health-focused ventures, and others.

Designed for innovators, entrepreneurs, clinicians, researchers, students, and industry professionals, HIPP provides participants with the knowledge, tools, and network needed to successfully navigate the path from idea to commercialization.

Through expert-led educational sessions taught by NEMIC advisors and industry leaders, participants will gain practical insights into product development, commercialization, regulatory strategy, reimbursement, fundraising, market entry, and leadership.

Generously funded by the Rhode Island Department of Labor & Training, classes are held in-person at NEMIC on Monday evenings, with occasional Wednesday evening sessions, August 24th- Dec 16th. Participants are expected to attend all classes and actively engage throughout the program.

APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY EARLY. Space is limited to 50 participants and seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
