A Smashing Success: Dozens Attend NEMIC Spring Showcase

More than 150 people joined NEMIC at Venture Cafe Providence last month for our first-ever public graduation and program showcase. This event highlighted the work of participants from the MedTech Leadership Program, MedTech Accelerator, and our inaugural EMPOWER Accelerator. These companies were recognized for their innovations and dedication to advancing the health and wellness of our communities and humanity at large.

Eleven different companies pitched their MedTech, Health, and Wellness products and services, including Flourish Care, Endotrak, Wheelhouse, Foxglove, Trace Sensing, Centinela, IRIS, Zen Den, FlexFlow, KT INNOVATIONS, and Just Breathe. 

We also featured a showcase of 20 current and former program participants who set up tables to display their businesses and share their progress. Attendees had the chance to engage with all the companies who presented, plus Adelle Diagnostics, AdvanceBox, Alcini, BedJet, Echowear, Egal, Lenoss, WellAware, and SMoltap.

This event underscored NEMIC's commitment to nurturing a thriving MedTech ecosystem in Rhode Island. By supporting these companies and providing a public forum platform to speak about their innovations, NEMIC is positioning the state as a center of excellence in the industry. The dedication and achievements of these companies stand as a testament to our mission and the plan for continued growth and success in the region.
