NEMIC REACHES 500 LEARNERS ON edX PLATFORM
Marking a huge milestone in MedTech industry education, NEMIC proudly announces that 500 learners have enrolled in our Virtual Classroom courses on edX, representing 55 countries spanning the entire globe.
Earlier this year, NEMIC joined forces with edX, a leading global online learning platform from 2U, Inc., to make our cutting-edge MedTech education program accessible to an expanded worldwide audience. This strategic collaboration signified a significant leap forward in democratizing access to innovative health technology knowledge and training. Launched in Q1 2024, the "MedTech Fundamentals by NEMIC Virtual Classroom" program marks the first-ever Professional Certificate Program in MedTech available on edX. MedTech Fundamentals covers a comprehensive range of health technology topics related to bringing a MedTech device to market.
In the competitive and highly regulated landscape of Medical Technology, the industry boasts a surprisingly—and at times frustratingly—obscure knowledgebase that, while required for success, can be challenging to obtain. With enrollment coming from 55 nations representing every continent (except Antarctica), NEMIC's 500 (and growing) learners demonstrate both the global appetite and need to fill such a glaring niche educational gap.
