FOREWORD:

We share an exciting update about the evolution of NEMIC Leadership. After seven years as Managing Partners in day-to-day operations, Lydia and I will transition to serving on the Executive, Strategic, and Finance Committees. NEMIC’s momentum, reach, and reputation have never been stronger, and the organization is well-poised for growth. It is evident more than ever that southern New England is in an extraordinary position to thrive as a global hub of HealthTech innovation. NEMIC has developed a highly accessible network of domain expertise covering every competency needed to bring a technology to market, supported by an increasingly active investment and syndication marketplace. We look forward to working with select startups, to support their growth and funding needs. None of what we have achieved to date would have been possible without the support from RI Commerce, RI DLT, Rhode Island Foundation, and RI Life Science Hub for which we are deeply thankful.
