Providence-based Product Design + Innovation firm, OCTO, joins NEMIC as latest Corporate Member

Providence, RI — For over one year now, NEMIC has successfully built up a cohort of Corporate Members who are aligned in our mission of advancing healthcare through innovation.  In curating members, we seek those who both understand and support the importance of Startups in the innovation chain.  As Rhode Island continues to nurture its rapidly-growing Life Science ecosystem, Startups will prove to be an invaluable component of the commercial pipeline of technologies that will improve humankind; and the corporations that support those startups will serve as a pool of deep expertise in commercial success.  Bearing that in mind, we are delighted to welcome our ninth NEMIC Corporate Member, OCTO.

With offices in Providence, RI and Lyon, France, the Rhode Island-based international product development firm focuses on transforming business outcomes with design.  At its core, OCTO partners with future-minded clients to design industry-changing strategies, products, services, and brand experiences, with a focus on activating a sustainable future for industry. “The convergence of the physical and digital worlds are opening opportunities for companies to reimagine their futures,” says Founder + CEO, Justin Sirotin.  “It has become more critical than ever to look outside of the narrow confines of a particular vertical or technology to find the next arena for innovation.”

As a multidisciplinary, global team of strategists, designers, and technologists, OCTO has long-supported NEMIC’s work with Startups to build out commercial strategies, product design and development, and more.  This makes OCTO an ideal addition to our Corporate Membership cohort, which comprises financial, legal, QMS management, design, and other Life Science innovation sectors.

As NEMIC continues to expand our ever-growing Corporate Membership program, we look forward to achieving a diverse, formidable group of esteemed corporate supporters who understand the immense value of the work we do, and the impact that work has on real patients within our complicated healthcare system.  For more information on our program, or to explore becoming a corporate member, visit our webpage here.
