Founded by Abigail Kohler and Greg Fine in 2018, ResusciTech makes complex skills accessible and enjoyable to learn. The app's patented algorithm leverages the phone’s sensors to provide real-time feedback to coach and evaluate the most critical component of CPR training - performing chest compressions. This innovation - coupled with a user-friendly interface and interactive, regulation-compliant (OSHA & AHA) content - makes acquiring life-saving skills effective and easy. As more individuals access life-saving education, the collective ability to respond to emergencies significantly improves. NEMIC: Empowering ResusciTech's Evolution
NEMIC stands behind ResusciTech's training platform as a supporter and champion. Through our programming, including Accelerators and our signature Med Tech Leadership Program, NEMIC has been able to support ResusciTech in business model architecture, brand strategy, web development, product validation, and financial modeling. Our Accelerator, supported by Rhode Island Commerce, awarded ResusciTech with $15,000 in funds during the startup’s development. NEMIC's leadership programs expanded ResusciTech's horizons and fueled its growth through education and networking, which allowed them to connect with top talent. ResusciTech brought on NEMIC advisor Brian Morley as Fractional Chief Marketing Officer after utilizing his expertise in NEMIC programming.
