NEMIC Speed Pitch Event Breaks Venture Café Record

We want to thank everyone who turned out for NEMIC's Healthcare and Med Tech Speed Pitch and Expo held at Venture Café Providence on March 30.
The event served as a spotlight for Rhode Island’s extensive local healthcare ecosystem via impactful two-minute presentations, spanning topics from medical devices and healthcare technologies to the service providers supporting startups on their paths forward.
Meant to celebrate Rhode Island's vibrant healthcare and Med Tech ecosystem, the event far exceeded our highest expectations, drawing 166 attendees. That's a new record for Venture Café's Thursday Gathering. Even more exciting, 66 of the attendees were first-time visitors to Venture Café.
