The Med Tech Leadership Program is a rich education program developed and run by the experts at the NEMIC Foundation, based on in-depth research and combined decades of professional experience in the Med Tech industry. It begins by going over the basics and trends of the Med Tech industry, before delving deep into the process of turning an idea into a product ready for market. This is done through over 55 hours of seminars led by real industry professionals, hands-on workshops, and 1 on 1 advisory hours.

The program, on which NEMIC's Virtual Classroom is based, offers this holistic view of regulated medical technology development, best commercialization practices, and business leadership strategies for regulated medical technologies.

Over the past six months, the NEMIC team has had the opportunity to work closely with each of these entrepreneurs: Michael Harman, Farah Laiwalla, Saipravallika Chamarthi, Joshua Burrow, Alex Hruska, Andrei Petrus, Katelyn Holt, Leonidas Alponte, Riya Kesari, Andrew Barton, Rudra Trivedi, Arvin Soepriatna, Nadja Ging-Jehli, David Swift, “Nancy” Tuong Tran, “Havi” Hafithe AlGhosain, Stephanie Roser.

"It has truly been a pleasure watching not only their forward progress but also their entrepreneurial confidence grow week by week." NEMIC co-founder Aidan Petrie said. "It goes without saying, the partnerships and relationships we’ve created over these months are just getting started. While the 2022-23 Med Tech Leadership Program is concluded, our cohort knows this is not goodbye!"

NEMIC would like to thank our instructors and advisors for their dedication to our program. We wouldn’t be able to do this without you. And most importantly the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training for supporting this program.

And thank you again to our 2022-23 cohort for allowing us to be a part of their Med Tech innovation.
