NEMIC among nonprofits accepting donations during 401 Gives campaign

401Gives 2023 marks the fourth year that Rhode Islanders can show their love for our nonprofit community. Powered by United Way of Rhode Island and presenting sponsor, Papitto Opportunity Connection, 401Gives brings people together to support our local nonprofits, who help thousands each and every day–including vital services, education, and so much more.

NEMIC - a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization funded purely on grants and donations from our partners - is among the nonprofits to which donors can contribute during the campaign.

401Gives allows for a safe, comfortable, and familiar virtual fundraising experience, all while giving nonprofits unrestricted funds that strengthen Rhode Island. Last year 13,000 donors helped raise $3.1M for 507 nonprofits, including NEMIC. Please be a part of this year's Rhode Island day of giving - an opportunity to unite our community around important causes, and help nonprofit organizations connect to the larger community.

The campaign begins March 31 at 6 a.m. and runs through April 3 at 6 p.m., as 401Gives returns to make this year’s event the biggest WEEKEND of giving in Rhode Island history!

The world needs innovation in healthcare

When you donate to the New England Medical Innovation Center, you support Rhode Island's diverse, robust Healthcare & Lifesciences ecosystem.  We cultivate collaboration with entrepreneurs in Med Tech, industry professionals, academic experts, and beyond. These precious members of our local community are working tirelessly to solve overlooked problems in the healthcare space, in order to deliver real innovations to real people.

Ultimately, we help usher technologies to market so that they achieve their visions--advancing the patient & caregiver experience, improving healthcare outcomes, mitigating risks, reducing costs, and much more. Together, we can streamline the healthcare system to make life better for everyone.

Stand with us! as we expedite the developmental process for all so that disruptive ideas can realize commercial success and provide value to the patients they strive to serve.

Donations support:

  • The discovery and cultivation of local technologies in the healthcare sector

  • Student’s access to tuition-free education through our Med Tech Leadership Program, a unique and invaluable opportunity for entrepreneurs and those interested in Med Tech

  • The Med Tech Business Accelerator; focused on advancing Mental Health, Equity, and Telehealth solutions

  • NEMIC events; such as Pitching Contests and Hackathons that encourage innovation and breed game-changing ideas

  • The facilitation and support of women and minority-owned technologies in the Med Tech industry
