Softball at NEMIC

May 23, 2019.  Softball at NEMIC.  Softball at NEMIC is an exclusive, invite only, pitch event where selected NEMIC member startups are chosen and prepped to give a “soft” 3-minute pitch of their companies to invited investors in exchange for feedback on their pitches and companies to prepare them for fundraising.

For our latest event, NEMIC invited 5 startups focusing on spine, digital health, asset management for orthopedic surgeries, and preventative care software to pitch to 7 local Venture Capitalists.  This led to great feedback and questions from investors and allowed the startups to create relationships and connections with the VC community.  The night ended with a cocktail reception that allowed for deeper conversations and relationship building between the startups and investors. 

NEMIC is in the works of planning the next Softball at NEMIC and is adding more startups to our roster, as well as, expand our VC network in new investors for new perspectives and feedback.  If you are interested in participating in this event contact us here to learn about becoming a member of NEMIC.
